I’ve lived/worked in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Sarasota, Tampa, Boston, Atlanta, New Hampshire, Portland, Cape Cod, and Tokyo, and in 2021 I got off that treadmill to nowhere and relocated to the “Frozen Tundra” I affectionately call Maine … off the grid, out of gridlock and away from the grind.
My “commute” is between my 3 very old (Circa 1791 and 1864) farms that I am reviving. I purchased them for a combined total of what a condo would cost me in all of those places I previously lived in.
And my “traffic”? Dodging turkeys and John Deere tractors.
