With my participation in Patrisha McLean’s Domestic Violence program www.FindingOurVoices.net, I was so proud to have helped this young mother navigate our complex (often “unjust”) justice system. This weekend she was reunited with her 4 year old after being denied seeing, talking and/or any access to him for over 2 years due to parental alienation.
We were blessed that she FINALLY got a brilliant and caring judge and lawyer who understood how our system failed this mother and child over and over again and they needlessly lost so much time together.
But … being a part of their reunion was priceless!
Maybe someday I’ll see my 2 kids again. In the meantime, I’ll keep fighting for victims of parental alienation aka “child abuse”. Sometimes bad things happen to good people so that good things can happen to more people.
