This week I spent hours in the ER with a dear friend of mine here in Maine.
This was her fourth visit to the ER in two months for intense abdominal pain. I learned she started taking the weight loss pill Ozempic in September, but due to her intestinal problems she stopped taking it October 25.
Unfortunately, the harm was already done. It can take 4-6 weeks to get it out of your system.
I decided it was time to celebrate our roundness.
FAT MOM’s FOSTER BIG HUGS
Growing up, I was a dancer/cheerleader. My bucket list today is to attend a Patriots cheerleader camp-seriously at 55.
I used to do Boot Camp at 5:30 in the morning for eight years.
I have been anorexic, bulimic, popped natural and artificial weight loss pills.
Now I’m what I call myself “voluptuously petite”. I’m about 15 lbs heavier than I was when I was all the above and I don’t give a shit anymore.
I don’t belong to a gym. I “belong” to a farm that exercises my brain, my back, my legs, my arms.
I eat a little bit of everything and not a lot of any one thing.
I’m not vegan, gluten, dairy, egg, soy grain, or anything free. I have a sign in my kitchen that says BACON MAKES ME HAPPY.
Shame on all the celebrities who have been pushing this deadly drug. But shame on them for almost everything anyways.
