I lived in the small town of
Mineral Bluff, Georgia … this is ludicrous
Yet again, police act like they are Gods and say “it’s against the law” for a child to walk alone in a small town.
Mineral Bluff is the best kept secret of Blue Ridge Georgia, the “Beverly Hills” of north Georgia.
Has anyone heard of Halloween? Is that the
only night where it’s not “against the law” for children cruise hoods for candy?
I was a victim of these north Georgia keystone cops when my then abusive husband cut my chain on my remote driveway, broke into my cabin and attempted to scare me by shuffling through my stuff before leaving.
Here in Maine, the same thing happened to me when a very young female police officer incorrectly told my dangerous child abusive neighbor that me taking a video and a picture of my own property that he is squatting in from across the street was against the law.
This officer’s stupidity and arrogance has cost me $10,000 and 2 lawyers to defend myself against my First Amendment and Civil Rights.
I am holding the Knox County Maine Sherriff‘s office accountable on this. I hope this Georgia mom does too.
Too often arrogant power hungry and uneducated police officers threaten and arrest people for things that are not only not against the law but a violation of our rights.
