If you find yourself in a relationship with a narcissist – partner, spouse, parents, siblings, family, boss, coworker, friend, lawyer, police officer -the only solution is don’t engage then GTFO.
By gaslighting (aka lying and projecting)they will ATTEMPT to destroy you, your reputation, your profession, your finances, your health, EVERYTHING. It’s their twisted narc “supply.” They literally get a euphoric high when you engage.
I say “attempt” because a narcissist is really a measly, spineless, zero self esteem bully. They only succeed at destroying you if you let them.
When I encounter this, I learned the best response to a narc is I strike up my best penguins from Madagascar “Smile and Wave Boys”.
It unhinges a narcissist.
