OK, here she is, my latest 1864 “Fanciful Farmette” (former saw mill), 19 acres and 850 feet of river frontage I’ll be “reviving” for under $275k. And I am buying her only by a miracle from God.
In December 2019 I was sent this Christmas card from Charles Stanley’s church (see photo on the left) the mega church in Atlanta. I was living at my cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. The photo is of a real church in New Hampshire that Charles had taken. I kept the card/photo as an inspiration to move back “home” to New England (I grew up in NH & Cape Cod). With life as I knew it imploding, I knew God was telling me it was time to take a leap of faith and go.
I tried to buy this property in May of this year. I lost out to multiple offers. 2 weeks ago, the agent (fellow believer) contacted me to say the deal was falling through and did I still want it? Hell yes I said!
When I went to look at the property again, I couldn’t believe that this identical church (photo on right) is on the corner of the street the home is on. You can’t make this “Awestruck Wonder” up.
God is good even when the world and people in it are not.
